Hi. My name is Dan Foster. I’ve been a certified diver since 1982 and have always enjoyed outdoor activities like sky diving, racing motorcycles and cars, skiing, and scuba diving. I have a penchant for learning, teaching, and challenging myself, which are some of the reasons why I became a scuba instructor. Over the years I have taken many specialty scuba courses and in addition to Scuba diving I am an instructor for Emergency First Responder, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Enriched Air Nitrox, and Self-Reliant Diver at One World Dive and Travel.

OWDT not only has a great variety of equipment and training, but they also specialize in travel. I have taken scuba based trips throughout the world with OWDT to such places as Bali (pictured), the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador (think Darwin), Komodo (think dragons), Palau and Yap (Manta Rays), and many other places. Consequently, I am an advocate for the sea and the precious life it contains. My most recent adventure with OWDT was in Cuba, where thanks to conservation efforts, we saw a diverse population of sea life.

I have had the pleasure of teaching many wonderful scuba students from whom I have learned. I hope you’ll join us at OWDT for your next life adventure. Always keep learning and living life.
