My name is Ed Yoblonski and I was first certified in 1998 in Maui.
When I retired as a Software Developer in 2002 I stopped by One World Dive & Travel (then Underwater Phantaseas, South) to sign up for a couple of classes to improve my dive skills. The first class I took was the Divemaster course and I was hooked. I spent a wonderful summer learning the physiology and physics of diving, learning the PADI system of education, and (the best part) working with students.
I became a PADI Instructor the following year. I am now a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and primarily teach the Open Water classes because I like sharing my love of the underwater world and because I love helping people grow from tentative curiosity to having complete confidence in the water. When I dive I usually take along an underwater camera and travel to places like Indonesia where I can find small and unusual animals. Ask me about Macro Photography if you have a couple of hours to kill.
