So far all of your instructor activities have been teaching students in various PADI programs. With the IDC Staff Instructor program, you will begin learning how to train assistant instructor and instructor candidates. You know what it feels like to be going through those programs. You’ve done it yourself (and successfully completed them!). You know what you liked and what you disliked about the process. You know how it felt having your knowledge development, confined water and open water teaching presentations evaluated by the Course Director and IDC Staff Instructor as they marked boxes on their evaluation slates while you spoke. Now it’s your opportunity to begin to apply your experiences to training the next assistant instructors and instructors.
