Truk Lagoon is a wreck diver’s paradise and an underwater photographer’s dream. We’ll be diving into history as we dive the wrecks of Truk Lagoon and the unexplored reefs and passes of Truk and Kuop Atolls. The WWII wrecks feature Japanese artifacts, brilliant soft corals, colorful anemones and an array of Pacific marine life. The ghost fleet of Truk Lagoon, the world’s best shipwreck destination, is a one-of-a-kind experience.
We will be pampered for 7 nights aboard the Truk Odyssey. The diving in Truk Lagoon is mysterious and exciting with its beautiful soft coral growth and schools of colorful fish. Throughout the week, we will explore the most beautiful wrecks in the lagoon including tanks, tractors, trucks, planes, artillery shells, dinner ware and sake bottles. These are just a fraction of the artifacts awaiting your discovery in the holds of these sunken ships.
The warm waters of Truk Lagoon are home to large variety of marine life including lionfish, clownfish, tuna, freckled frogfish, turtles, grouper and gray reef and white tip sharks. Night dives in Truk are also quite spectacular. When diving the outer reefs, you can expect to see several different species of sharks along with over 300 varieties of soft and hard corals.
